he Center was built as a tourist, commercial and entertainment center that provides a platform for a new economic branch in the city for business tourism, exhibitions, events and large performances. The Center was designed and built in a unique architectural style and finish, conforming to a very high standard, comparative to international standards, built on a 75 dunam site, with 24,000 sq. meters of space. The Haifa Congress Center began its activities at the end of 1997 and includes: exhibition halls, conventions and conference rooms, a performance hall (the largest in Haifa and the north), serving 2,100 spectators, together with an arrangement of commercial halls and tourist services. A center for entertainment includes five movie theaters and areas for restaurants and cafes. Developed areas for parking can hold up to 1000 vehicles. Since the Center was opened, professional exhibitions and important international conventions have been held, among them, The Breast Cancer Convention, The International Baha'i Convention, The International Agri-tech Exhibition and more. The establishment of the Haifa Congress Center has enabled the presentation of performances, exhibitions and conventions, attended by many visitors, creating economic services needed to serve their events.
The convention center is located at the southern entrance to Haifa, at the center of a road meeting that allows for maximum accessibility and significant traffic. The convention center is located at the intersection of three major traffic routes:
Road 4 (Haifa Old Road - Tel Aviv)
About 100 meters southwest. The road drains all traffic from the beaches of the Carmel Coast, Zichron Yaacov and Tirat Carmel to and from Haifa.
Freud Road
Launches to the South Convention Center. It is a major access route to the Carmel Ridge, which serves the city's established neighborhoods and the University and Technion traffic. Also - all traffic to the seashore, the Matam Park and the Carmel Gate passes through it.
Carmel Tunnel axis
The Carmel Tunnels connect the Check Post junction with the southern entrance, 300 meters east of the convention center. In the tunnels, thousands of vehicles pass by each day, and the entrance road is kissed at the convention center.
Access to public transport:
A 10-minute walk from the convention center is Haifa's major transport terminal - the central bus station and the Carmel Coast train station.
1,500 free parking spaces - Hundreds of free parking spaces adjacent to the convention center, for the greatest comfort of visitors.
