The Tzavta Center for Advanced Culture was founded in 1955 by a founding group led by the poet Abraham Shlonsky. Over the years, Tzavta has become synonymous with diverse Israeli culture, with a conceptual and artistic stage on which the best of Israeli artists have appeared, along with discourse and literature meetings, political and social discussions and many initiatives to promote Israeli culture.
Most of all, we take pride in a long line of original productions and festivals born together and being the first stage of so many in the theater, music and entertainment world of Israel.
